About the position of Social Performance Marketeer

As a Social Performance Marketeer you are part of the Online Marketing team within the E-commerce organization of de Bijenkorf. You are jointly responsible for increasing the visibility and increasing the number of visitors to our web shops. You also know how to generate optimal returns based on the available budget and the predefined goals. In this role you will be reporting to the Online Traffic Lead. 

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • Determine a strategy, based on our vision and (data) insights, for optimal deployment and results from social media channels with emphasis on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest & YouTube in all countries in which de Bijenkorf is active; 
  • Set up and test strategies to reach target groups in both exploratory phases to acquire new customers and convert existing customers with purchase intent with relevant range and commercial focus; 
  • Providing relevant insights / reports to implement optimizations (via a / b testings, etc.) in order to increase returns, which contributes to achieving commercial results; 
  • Manage and propose best in class toolings to deploy campaigns in a scalable and effective way across different platforms;
  • Identifying trends and media behavior developments and translating them into applicable proposals. 

How you complete our team

  • 3-5 years of Online Marketing experience, preferably within (paid) social media; 
  • Experience with Social toolings (Smartly), Feed management (Channable), DV360 & Google Analytics is a plus;
  • Knowledge of the media landscape with experience in the retail industry and/or agency; 
  • Being able to think tactically and strategically, being flexible and have strong analytical skills; 
  • Strong communicator and pro- active 
  • Commercial insight is required; 
  • Result driven and a constant drive for improvement.
