At the headquarters of the Bijenkorf, our E-commerce department is our youngest and fastest-growing department. A passionate, multinational group of over 140 professionals work together on the continuous growth and development of our digital platform.

In 2009 we opened our completely renewed webshop and now has become one of the largest webshops in the Netherlands. In 2015 we successfully launched our Belgian webshop and since 2019 we are servicing our German customers.

In the role of Online Conversion Specialist International, you are responsible for conversion optimization within the international teams. Your main focus, together with a team of specialists, will be to drive commercial growth by identifying the needs of our international customers, defining actions and optimizing their journeys.

Your main responsibilities

  • Responsible for optimizing the customer journey within the international teams by improving navigation, product assortment and information;
  • Optimize commercial focus on landing pages to fulfil the needs of our visitors and define where they differ from the Dutch customer;
  • Define the right assortment for international growth;
  • Responsible for increasing AOV by using different techniques, including cross- and upsell and product sorting;
  • Setup, conduct and analyze A/B tests;
  • Evaluate effectiveness of conversion optimization and make proposals to continuously improve results;
  • Analyze trends on customer & buying behavior and share findings and opportunities with stakeholders;
  • Works closely together with SEO and SEA Marketeers to optimize high traffic, low converting pages;
  • Work closely with the Country Manager, Category Managers and the Buying department.

How you complete the team

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, Dutch or an additional language is a plus;
  • A Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant domain;
  • At least 4 years of relevant e-commerce experience, International experience is a plus;
  • Commercially focused;
  • Data-driven;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Experienced with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics;
  • Knowledge of merchandising tooling such as Fredhopper, AEM, etc;
  • Strong experience with digital environments and usability;
  • Strong knowledge of latest online technologies, industry and competitive landscape.
